Graduate Student
I work with children, teens, and adults navigating grief, trauma, loss, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. As a Graduate Intern at Neema Counseling working toward my LPC licensure, I am passionate about walking alongside clients as they face life’s challenges and discover new ways to heal, grow, and thrive.
I offer a safe and collaborative space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll explore what’s working and what’s not, while building practical skills that foster resilience, self-discovery, and peace of mind. My integrative approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet each individual’s needs. I am committed to creating a supportive environment where clients can build confidence, develop coping tools, and move toward a fulfilling and meaningful life.
I hold a Master’s degree in both Psychology and Education from Houston Christian University, along with an Educational Diagnostician certification, which enriches my holistic approach to mental health and wellness. My past experience as an autism interventionist in the school system and as a teacher has given me many years of experience supporting children with diverse needs throughout their development. As a Graduate Intern, I am supervised by Lauren Jones, LPC-S.
In my free time I enjoy reading, journaling, exercising, making nutritious meals and spending quality time with my family and friends.
