NeemaStudy’s Study Skills Workshop will provide students with the tools they need to excel in the upcoming school year. Specifically designed for students who struggle with time management, organization, and prioritization, our workshop will teach students the skills they need for success.
The workshop consists of three days with different curriculum taught each day (as outlined in the schedule below). The workshop is divided by age groups: middle school (incoming 6th-8th) and high school (incoming 9th-12th). The content covered will be similar in both age groups, but adapted based on the developmental level of the age group.
This workshop is especially beneficial for students with ADHD, and each session is short and engaging.
Schedule
Tuesday, August 9th: Essential skills: using a planner, emailing the teacher, and creating a productive homework environment
Wednesday, August 10th: Time management: prioritization, time management techniques, task initiation
Thursday, August 11th: Learning strategies: active reading, note taking skills, and study strategies
Cost
Students can attend all three days or pick and choose which days they attend. The cost for each day is $50.

Meet our academic coach
I support students in learning valuable study skills, time management strategies, and organizational techniques to complete assignments and manage responsibilities. As a part of the Neema team, I know that mental health concerns can significantly impact academic performance. I am available to collaborate with a student's parents, therapist, or school counselor as needed. I seek to provide encouragement and accountability to help students learn to create the habits and structure needed to achieve their academic goals. Read more
